A yacht which was sinking off the coast of Cornwall has been successfully towed back to safety. The alarm was raised at 8am this morning after the boat began taking on water. It was reported that the three crew members, from Ireland, were waist-deep in water. Efforts are under way to have the main road into Coverack reopened by early next week. Cornwall Council has said it hopes to have a one way system set up with temporary traffic lights as soon as possible.
