An appeal has been launched after a baby girl was found abandoned on a stone bus stop floor. The girl has not yet been named, but police say she looks to be healthy and is doing well.She was found last week by a man who said she was naked, motionless and barely breathing. The village of Coverack will begin the long process of recovery this morning after flash floods swept through the village yesterday. Intense rainfall hit the village early in the afternoon, and lasted for several hours, with up to an inch of rain falling in just 15 minutes at one point.
