A team of divers have been photographing the colourful and weirdly wonderful life beneath the sea off Cornwall. In all, 13 experienced volunteer divers has been surveying and cataloguing life on The Manacles, a treacherous rocky reef that juts out from the Lizard peninsula. The underwater haven is famous for its shipwrecks and is also designated as a Marine Conservation Zone. Three men have been sentenced for their roles in the "ferocious" killing of a drunken man who was lured to a St Austell park where he was subjected to a frenzied knife attack. The South West has seen a drop in the number of armed police officers - while every other region has seen a rise. An armed officer is any officer which can be operationally deployed with a firearm. They will often also carry out normal duties. Teen pregnancy rates in Cornwall have fallen to their lowest level, with half the number of young girls having babies than five years ago. According to the latest figures released, 161 under-18s became pregnant in 2015, the last full year for which figures are available, compared to 319 in 2010.
