Christmas Elves needed!
Could all Christmas Lights Elves and volunteers please come to the square for 9 am Saturday 3rd for last minute snagging before switch on Saturday evening.
There's lots to do - including testing and replacing Carnival lights bulbs, making sure all the lights have timers, etc
So anyone who can spare an hour or two will be made most welcome...

Switch on — Saturday 3rd December, 7pm by the Pub.
Switch On night will see Santa’s arrival and he will be pleased to see Angarrack's little ones in the children’s Christmas grotto. read more »

Despite many people having previous engagements there was an excellent turnout for the Treasure Hunt and BBQ to raise funds for the Angarrack Christmas Lights - celebrating their 25th Anniversary this year.
Very many thanks to all who turned out and also to the Steve & Julie Horne from the Angarrack Inn for kindly donating the star prize. Thanks are also due to the Angarrack Christmas Lights Committee who organised the vent and were hard at work on the BBQ too. read more »
Treasure Hunt and BBQ - Friday 29th July 2011

Come and join us on Friday 29th June 2011 for a fabulous Treasure Hunt and BBQ in the grounds of the Angarrack Inn by the river.
The Treasure Hunt starts at 6pm in the Angarrack Inn carpark, entry is via a small donation to the Christmas Lights fund.
The Treasure Hunt has a circular walk around the Angarrack locality centred on the pub. There are also small items to collect for younger hunters - the team that solves the most puzzles will win the prize.
The BBQ starts at 6pm with all the favourites.
We look forward to seeing you there!

The Annual General Meeting of the Angarrack Christmas Lights Committee is at 8pm in the village hall.
Elections to the committee will take place - all are welcome - as are new people on the committee!

The grand switch-on of the Angarrack Christmas Lights took place last Saturday, and went off very well despite the rain that arrived just after Santa departed!
The lights are now on from 5pm until 10pm every day until just after the New Year, and all are welcome to come and take a stroll around the village. The lights certainly brighten these dark nights!
The Angarrack Lights committee than everybody involved for all their support. Your help and donations are greatly appreciated.
