A mass brawl involving more than 100 teenagers broke out in the centre of Newquay in the early hours of Tuesday. Police say the huge fight broke out after the youngsters left an under-18s 'no alcohol' event at the Sailors nightclub at around 1am. A jury has been asked to consider the fate of a man who attacked another with a Stanley knife, which cut his artery and left blood splashed up the walls of a house. Police arriving at a house where a man had been repeatedly stabbed and slashed with a Stanley knife found the walls splashed with blood.
