Angarrack Christmas Lights cherry picker - the big push... SECOND DAY!
from late afternoon to put up the bigger lights and light strings. If you can help on either of those evenings we would really appreciate it.
All helpers very gratefully received
Please take extra care driving around the village with the cherry picker in operation and all the Elves out and about.

The results of the consultation will be considered by Cornwall Council's Neighbourhoods Overview and Scrutiny Committee and help inform the PSPO that will be in place for 2023-2025.

Putting up the Lights…
We will begin bringing the lights out for testing, weather permitting, on the 17th September.
We really need as many helpers as possible and there will be a pasty for anyone helping.

The Duck Races! Are back!!!
Angarrack Summer Duck Races will be held on Saturday 3rd September starting at 3pm underneath the viaduct (or Sunday 4th if it’s raining).
There will be all the usual fun including a bottle stall & raffle (donations gratefully accepted) plus we will be doing cream teas this year
And there will be a new race – design your own ‘duck’. It’s your chance to build your own ‘winning’ duck! nothing bigger than 12cm long x 6cm wide x 12cm high, any colour, shape, style - and obviously it must float! …
The duck race is a fun afternoon for all!
If you would like to donate bottles for the bottle stall, cakes or prizes for the races then please take them to Nikki, 29 Riverside or Nigel, 6 Carwinard Close (preferably up to three days in advance) who will be very pleased to accept them!
Likewise if you’d like to help with this event or future ones then come along and let us know!
