Eight Cornwall beaches join official list of bathing waters for new season

South Fistral beach, Booby’s Bay, Mexico Towan, Upton Towan and Godrevy, Northcott Mouth beach, Gwynver Beach and Tregonhawke have all been added to the list  read more »

Councillors Pollard and Capper had attended the recent Towans Partnership meeting where access to the beach at Sandy Acres had been discussed.
 
Councillors were reminded that access to the beach at this location had been an aim of the Hayle Neighbourhood Plan, but that NE had objected. A meeting with NE was planned and Councillor Rance was on the case.

The Towans Partnership meets every three months at the Frank Johns Centre, Hayle Community Centre, 58 Queensway, Hayle, TR27 4NX. Meetings commence at 10am and visitors are welcome.  read more »
