Stunned water officials discovered a croc basking in the sunshine on the side of an English lake. The hissing reptile - which is two feet long - was spotted clambering out of the water at Chew Valley reservoir in Somerset. Staff at Bristol Water caught the creature with a net before putting it in a box while waiting for a member of the RSPCA to collect it. Commuters are in luck as fuel prices have come down in time for the summer holidays. Both petrol and diesel have dropped in price since the beginning of the year when, according to the RAC, the average cost per litre of unleaded petrol hit 117.23p with diesel reaching 119.63p. A man who is believed to have died after falling from a cliff in Newquay has been named locally as father Adam Fenton.The body of Mr Fenton, 32, was discovered by a dog walker at around 6.30am last Saturday.
