 HAYLE PENWITH U3A:

Hayle U3A has the following programme this week.  Today, Thursday September 1, at 10am there is History and Writing then at 2pm the Social event "St Piran and his oratory" takes place.  On Tuesday September 6 at 10am there is Art and at 2pm Poetry Reading. All sessions except Writing are held in the Philip Smith annexe to the Hayle Day Care Centre.  The Writing is held in Hayle Library.

EXHIBITION:

Hayle Heritage Centre has an exhibition with displays uncovering four principal parts of Hayle's rich past: The Foundry, Shipping, Shops and J&F Pool. The exhibition runs until the Heritage Centre closes in October and will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 11am-4pm. FREE ENTRY.

ST ELWYN'S CHURCH:

On Sunday September 4, the fifteenth Sunday after Trinity Sung Eucharist will be celebrated by Father Malcolm at 9.30am. On Wednesday September 7, Said Eucharist will be at 10 am. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after each service

ST.JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, HAYLE:

St Joseph's Church in Hayle is part of the Roman Catholic Parish of the Holy Family. Father John said the 6.30pm Mass on Saturday August 27 with readings from Ecclesiasticus - Hebrews and gospel by Luke. The service was in memory of Tom Grellin.

There will be Mass on Friday September 2 at 10am.

£110 was raised at the cream tea of Camille and Steven to be split between parish funds and the Catenian Society.

Hayle Walk for Cornish Hospice Care is on September 11.  Father Philip will be doing this walk if you wish to sponsor him.
