HAYLE PENWITH U3A:

Hayle U3A has the following programme this week.  Today, Thursday March 31, at 10am there is History and Writing; then at 2pm the Social event "Weird and Wonderful Victorian Innovations" with Peter and Jill Johnson takes place. On Tuesday April 5 at 10am there is Art. All sessions except Writing are held in the Philip Smith annexe to the Hayle Day Care Centre.  The Writing is held in Hayle Library.

OLD CORNWALL SOCIETY:

The next meeting is on Friday April 1 at 7.30pm in The Passmore Edwards Institute Hayle, The speaker this month is Mr David Smitheram. The talk will be about the foundry at Terrill's in Hayle, all welcome. There will be refreshments after the talk.

HAYLE WI:

Hayle WI will be meeting on Tuesday April 5t at 7pm at the Hayle Day Care Centre. The speaker will be Barrie from Water Aid. Visitors and new members are made very welcome. You can now find Hayle WI on Facebook.

QUIZ:

There will be a quiz evening in aid of Cornwall Hospice Care (St Julia's) at 7pm for 7.30pm on Friday April 8 at the Old Quay House on the Hayle causeway. John Woodbridge will be the quizmaster.  It's £2.50 per person to enter and the teams will consist of between four and six people.

RACE NIGHT:

At the Cornish Arms in Hayle on Friday April 15 the Hayle Cricket Club is holding another ‘Race Night' in aid of club funds. Races start at 7.30pm.  All welcome.  There will also be a raffle with good prizes.  By kind permission of the new landlord and landlady.

ZUMBA:

Come along to Phillack church hall every Tuesday, meet up with Catherine and enjoy an hour of Zumba Gold. This is Zumba at a steady pace,

enjoyable for everyone, starts at 11:30am until 12:30pm. Remember Summer is just around the corner.  Call 07528135146 for more information.
